ELEGANT RETREAT IN THE HEART OF POLANCO
CASA POLANCO greets guests in the heart of the vibrant Polanco. Nestled along the tree-lined Avenida Campos Elíseos, just steps from Lincoln Park and the city’s finest museums, Casa Polanco is not just a place to stay, it is a place to belong. Situated in a restored Neo-colonial mansion from the 1940s, Casa Polanco offers a rare and refined oasis with individually designed rooms and suites and beautiful social areas. These spaces perfectly blend the luxurious amenities of a five-star hotel while offering personalized service and home feeling.
Casa Polanco stands as a boutique mansion-hotel where timeless architecture, understated luxury, and personalized service create a sanctuary for the sophisticated traveler. Originally built in the 1940s as a Spanish-style residence, Casa Polanco has been exquisitely transformed into a 19-suite luxury hotel while preserving the soul and elegance of its original form. The revival was led with impeccable taste, blending colonial elements, arched doorways, wrought iron railings, with modern sensibilities that speak to today’s global aesthete. The result is a home-like ambiance with the grace of a private club. There is no check-in desk in the traditional sense, guests will be greeted in the library instead with a cocktail and some snacks.
Each of the 19 rooms and suites has been individually designed to evoke a sense of calm, light, and refined intimacy. With views over the park, inner courtyard, or leafy streets of Polanco, the spaces feature oak flooring, handmade Mexican textiles, custom furniture, and curated contemporary art.
Rather than a formal restaurant, Casa Polanco offers a welcoming, all-day dining space where breakfast feels like a private affair in a friend’s elegant home. Expect seasonal fruits, organic eggs, warm breads, and artisanal Mexican coffee served on bespoke ceramic plates. Casa Polanco’s discreet yet intuitive service is one of its most compelling luxuries. Guests are assigned a personal butler who assists with everything—from unpacking and ironing to booking a last-minute table at Pujol or arranging a private visit to the Jumex Museum. Guests may also choose rooftop yoga, guided meditation, or a walk with a local historian through the neighborhood’s hidden gardens and Art Deco homes.
In an age where luxury often means excess, Casa Polanco offers something rarer, elegance without noise, indulgence without pretense, and service without formality. It is a reflection of modern Mexico at its most graceful: creative, design-forward, and deeply rooted in a sense of place.
