THE TURKMEN ENERGY FORUM HAS BECOME A TRUSTED PLATFORM FOR HIGH-LEVEL DIALOGUE AND INVESTMENT, CONSISTENTLY ATTRACTING GLOBAL LEADERS AND DELIVERING TANGIBLE OUTCOMES.

TURKMEN ENERGY FORUM: DRIVING INVESTMENT

AND GLOBAL PARTNERSHIPS

The success of the Turkmen Energy Forum (TEF) is built on a holistic and innovative approach. From concept development and programme curation to strategic marketing and precise execution, TEF has consistently delivered events that resonate with the global energy industry. Strong partnerships with leading energy companies and global experts have been instrumental in creating platforms for meaningful, high-level dialogue that attract decision-makers shaping investment and innovation.

Our consistent success with landmark events such as the Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan (OGT) International Conference, the Turkmen Energy Investment Forum (TEIF), and the Turkmen Energy Scientific Conference (TESC) reflects not only our unwavering commitment to excellence and client satisfaction, but also our dedication to promoting investment into Turkmenistan’s energy sector, advancing scientific progress, and supporting global efforts in methane reduction.

Turkmenistan’s internationally recognized status as a Permanently Neutral state ensures a stable and reliable investment climate, reinforced by the nation’s vast natural gas reserves—the fourth largest in the world. Together, these factors position Turkmenistan as a vital and trusted destination for attracting global leaders, fostering high-level industry dialogue, and driving international investment cooperation. By evolving its event agendas to address both present challenges and future opportunities, TEF continues to consolidate its role as a leading platform for energy cooperation, investment attraction, and economic partnerships.

EXPANDING GLOBAL REACH: TEIF KUALA LUMPUR AND OGT ASHGABAT

Turkmenistan’s oil and gas sector’s approach to attracting foreign investment began with the Turkmenistan Energy Investment Forum (TEIF) 2023 in Dubai, which engaged Middle Eastern investors, and continued with TEIF 2024 in Paris, which deepened partnerships with European companies. The TEIF 2025 in Kuala Lumpur provided a dynamic platform to connect with Southeast Asia’s rapidly growing economies, particularly Malaysia, China, Japan, and Australia.

Leveraging its end-to-end service model, TEF is designing tailored programmes and targeted networking opportunities to ensure maximum value for participants. By expanding strategic partnerships and inviting diverse industry experts, TEF aims to foster innovative dialogue and deliver tangible outcomes. The agenda will spotlight emerging trends and transformative projects in Turkmenistan’s energy sector, reinforcing the country’s appeal as a robust and reliable investment destination.

TEIF 2025 has already demonstrated its significance with the signing of agreements between Dragon Oil and Turkmennebit for the exploration of offshore Caspian blocks, followed by the landmark signing in May 2025 in Ashgabat, where Petronas, ADNOC, and Hazarnebit entered into an agreement on Block 1. These milestone deals underscore how TEF events generate real opportunities and long-term partnerships that strengthen Turkmenistan’s global energy integration.

Looking ahead, all eyes now turn to the 30th Anniversary Oil & Gas of Turkmenistan (OGT 2025), which will take place in Ashgabat from 22–24 October. With more than 1,000 delegates from over 70 countries already registered, this year’s OGT is set to be a landmark edition. Such record participation highlights the strengthening of Turkmenistan’s investment climate and the rising appetite of global investors. Today, OGT is increasingly recognized alongside international gatherings such as Gastech and ADIPEC as a vital platform for regional and global energy dialogue.

As the nation’s flagship international energy forum, OGT will once again serve as a vital platform for high-level dialogue, new signings, and major announcements, including further investment in offshore blocks and the next phase of the Galkynysh gas field development.

INNOVATION AND NEW FORMATS

For the first time, TEF is also introducing a dedicated digital platform and mobile application for this year’s events. The app integrates AI-driven business-to-business matchmaking, enabling delegates to identify and connect with relevant partners, schedule targeted meetings, and maximize cooperation opportunities.

In addition, TEF is rolling out new session formats—including interactive roundtables, fireside chats, and thematic “deep-dive” discussions—aligned with the latest international conference standards. These innovations ensure that TEIF and OGT not only meet but set the benchmark for global energy forums, combining traditional high-level dialogue with modern networking tools.

LOOKING AHEAD: A LONG-TERM VISION

TEF’s long-term vision is to evolve into a multi-faceted platform that promotes cross-sector collaboration—while continuing to focus on oil, gas, construction, and energy-related industries at its core. As Turkmenistan’s economy diversifies, TEF is well positioned to bring global investors, policymakers, and innovators together in new sectors ranging from infrastructure and manufacturing to digital technologies and green solutions. By leveraging meticulous planning, tailored content, and strategic partnerships, TEF aims to facilitate high-level discussions that support Turkmenistan’s economic transformation, investment attraction, and global integration. The consistent growth of delegate numbers, the scale of new signings, and the attention of international media all confirm that Turkmenistan’s role in global energy dialogue is steadily expanding.

Above all, our philosophy is client-oriented. The satisfaction of our partners, stakeholders, and delegates is central to everything we do. For us, success is measured not only by the scale of our events or the high-level agreements signed, but by ensuring that every participant—whether a global energy major, a policymaker, or a first-time delegate—enjoys a seamless, valuable, and memorable experience. By placing client satisfaction at the heart of our work, the Turkmen Energy Forum continues to deliver events that provide measurable value, foster meaningful dialogue, and create lasting impact—further strengthening Turkmenistan’s role as a trusted destination for international investment and energy cooperation.
