“WE OFFER OUR GUESTS THE EXPERIENCE OF TRADITIONAL UZBEK HOSPITALITY INTERTWINED WITH INTERNATIONAL SERVICE STANDARDS, WHICH OVER TIME NURTURED THE TRUST AND LOYALTY OF PARTNERS AND GUESTS.”
CAN YOU TELL US ABOUT THE KEY FEATURES AND AMENITIES THAT SET THE HOTEL APART FROM ITS COMPETITORS?
Hilton Tashkent City is one-of-a-kind property, which is part of a large-scale project of the international business hub "Tashkent City". This strategic location in the new center of the capital includes restaurants, shopping and entertainment centers, a central park with a musical fountain, and a congress hall adjacent to the hotel. The hotel provides 258 modern rooms, from spacious Guest Rooms, Accessible Rooms, Long-stay Suites to 8 stunning Presidential Suites designed in 4 different styles. Not to mention, two transformable venues for events of various levels, luxurious restaurants and bars, where a tandem of foreign and local chefs will pleasantly surprise one with masterpieces of culinary art, as well as a premium spa and fitness center, Serenity Spa, will immerse one in a world of relaxation. Run under the flagship Hilton Worldwide brand, our hotel was the first to bring the famous light and warmth to Uzbekistan. Throughout the three years of operation, we have been delivering world-class service to our esteemed guests and partners, which is still a rare phenomenon in the Uzbek hospitality market.
WHAT OPPORTUNITIES DO YOU SEE IN UZBEKISTAN'S GROWING TOURISM SECTOR?
The government has taken remarkable measures since 2016 to simplify visa policies. It is important to emphasize that there was a whole package, not limited just to visas, of reforms introduced by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan to accelerate the tourism sector and to build Uzbekistan's international presence as a global destination. Hilton Tashkent City opened its doors four months before the first lockdown. Of course, the pandemic has put a temporary hold on everything. Nonetheless, once again, with the government's support, the country and the market were resilient enough to bounce back fast.
As the world resumed to the so-called normal, with no doubt, I can say that the Uzbek market just keeps growing. Uzbekistan is currently gaining significant importance and interest in the CIS region, attracting more companies, investments along with regional and global events. Consequently, bringing more travelers across the board, and increasing the demand for all types of accommodation. The local lodging market is full of niches yet to be occupied. I believe that currently there is a need for more branded properties, from limited service to high-end luxury. This will boost the competitiveness and raise service quality. On the other hand, there is a great opportunity to build local brands which can offer an immersive authentic experience of Uzbekistan.
HOW IS HILTON TASHKENT CITY CONTRIBUTING TO THE GROWTH OF THE COUNTRY’S TOURISM SECTOR?
Indeed, Uzbekistan is a country that has a lot to offer and has huge touristic potential. However, the hospitality industry has just begun rapidly developing. Currently, the accommodation market lacks diversity and limits one's choice. We can proudly say that we are pioneering the local luxury lodging industry. Probably a crucial contribution of Hilton Tashkent City is that our property is one of the few 5-star hotels available in the capital.
We offer our guests the experience of traditional Uzbek hospitality intertwined with international service standards, which over time nurtured the trust and loyalty of partners and guests. There is awareness among local and international travelers that while visiting Uzbekistan, Hilton Tashkent City is definitely a reliable choice. Furthermore, we believe that flexibility and consistency are key to building and maintaining fruitful long-term partnerships. Every individual, group, or event is unique, and there are no universal solutions. Therefore, personalization and a detailed approach define our perspective. We never stop working on exceeding one's expectations.
HOW HILTON TASHKENT CITY IS FOCUSED ON CUSTOMER EXPERIENCES?
We strive to maintain an exceptional level of service and provide guests with a satisfying and memorable experience, which encourages them to return to Uzbekistan and Hilton Tashkent City. We place great emphasis on training our associates and attracting the best possible specialists. We are proud to serve as a "training ground" for the future leaders of Uzbekistan's hospitality industry.
