OF LIFE
The Uzbekistan 2030 Strategy puts quality of life at the centre of policy. Real household incomes rose 9.2 per cent in 2025, with 1.5 million citizens moving into higher earnings.
PRIVATIZATION
A presidential decree of 21 April 2025 orders the sale of 29 state enterprises and the listing of 12 more, among them Uzbekneftegaz and Navoi Mining, on domestic and foreign exchanges.

Uzbekistan sits at the crossroads of five Central Asian states, with road & rail corridors reaching the Caspian. Trade turnover hit $81 billion in 2025 across 210 country partnerships.
TALENTED WORKFORCE
The population passed 38 million in 2025, widening the consumer market and workforce. Registered entrepreneurs rose from 213,000 in 2016 to about 1.2 million in 2025, in a rapid private-sector formation.
GROWING
ECONOMY
GDP passed $145 billion dollars in 2025 on real growth of 7.7 per cent. Fitch and S&P raised the sovereign rating to BB; the 2030 target is 240 billion dollars.
EASE OF DOING BUSINESS
Foreign companies register in one hour through a single digital window and may hold full ownership in most sectors. Profits move out freely, and the Law on Investment guarantees protection against nationalisation.
